Black cape, slicked-back hair, plastic fangs. Three pieces and you're done, because the fangs do all the acting. About 25 minutes, easy: a black cape or bedsheet, black shirt and pants from the closet, and a pair of plastic fangs. The hair gel matters more than you'd think; slick it straight back.

Common questions
Are the plastic fangs safe for small kids?
Skip the fangs for small kids who might choke on them. Draw two white fang triangles on the lower lip with face paint instead.
How do you get the pale face without buying special makeup?
White face powder from the costume aisle is cheapest. Whatever you use, patch-test it first on sensitive skin and wash it off the same night.
