One person goes red, the other goes yellow, and matching bottle-cap hats do the rest. The duo reads before either of you says a word. Fifteen minutes, easy: a red t-shirt, a yellow t-shirt, and red and yellow felt for the labels. Built for pairs; raid the closet for the shirts first.

Steps
- Pick who is ketchup and who is mustard first.
- Cut a big blob shape from the red paper, about dinner-plate size.
- Round the edges.
- A blob reads as a squeeze of ketchup.
- Cut a matching blob from the yellow paper.
- Pin the red blob to the yellow shirt.
- Pin the yellow blob to the red shirt.
- Use 4 safety pins each, pinned from inside.
- Each person wears the other one's color. That is the joke.
- Optional pro finish: write the nutrition facts on the back of each shirt with a marker.
- Safety: Pin from inside the shirt so no pin backs touch skin, and keep the pins flat, nobody wants a poke during a hug.
- Stand side by side and take the photo.
- Look delighted.

Common questions
How do you keep the paper blobs from tearing?
Pin from inside the shirt with four pins each, and use felt instead of paper if it might rain. Felt survives weather; paper does not.
Why does each person wear the other condiment's color?
That is the joke, ketchup wears mustard's blob and mustard wears ketchup's. Same-color blobs would just be two people in colored shirts.
