A white sheet cut in chunky pixel squares with felt eyes. The ghost, but make it 8-bit. Thirty minutes, easy: a white bedsheet or white fabric, black felt, and fabric glue. Cut the bottom edge in big squares, not a wavy hem; the pixels are the point.

Still need:
Tip: cut two small arm slits at the sides.
Sizing: Built for kids, tweens, and adults. Kids under 8 use a twin flat sheet, tweens and adults use a full flat, and trim the hem so it clears the ground by a few inches. Toddlers trip on hems an adult would clear.
Steps
- Fold the sheet in half.
- Chalk the zigzag line first.
- Hold it against the wearer to check the length.
- Cut the bottom edge into chunky square zigzags, about 4 inches each.
- Cut long, then trim later.
- Buy the white bedsheet and the black felt.
- Draw two square eyes and a square mouth on the black felt.
- Cut them out.
- Glue the felt eyes and mouth onto the top third of the sheet.
- Let the fabric glue dry for 30 minutes.
- Safety: Keep the eye area open so vision stays clear. (CPSC Halloween safety tips)
- Wear dark clothes underneath.
- Drape the sheet over the head, eyes lined up.
- Cut two small arm slits if reaching through is hard.
- Optional pro finish: cut two small arm slits at the sides.

Common questions
How do you keep the pixel edges crisp?
Use the ruler and marker to draw the zigzag grid before cutting, and cut on the lines. Freehand zigzags wobble; measured squares read as pixels.
How does the wearer see?
Wear dark clothes underneath, drape the sheet over the head, and leave the face area open under the felt eyes, the eyes are decoration on the sheet, not eye holes. Vision stays fully clear.
