A beret, a cardboard paint palette, and a splatter-painted smock. The splatters are the credential. Fifteen minutes, easy: a beret or flat cap, cardboard for the palette, and a washable paint set. Flick the paint at the smock from arm's length for real splatter.

Steps
- Draw the palette shape on the cardboard first.
- Check the size against the forearm before cutting.
- Cut the palette out.
- Paint dabs of bright color around the palette edge.
- Let it dry.
- Flick a little paint onto the smock for splatters.
- Let it dry.
- Safety: Use washable paint only; cover the table before splattering.
- Wear the smock and the tilted beret.
- Carry the palette and brush.
- Optional pro finish: squeeze real paint dabs onto the cardboard palette.
