Tulle wings, a flower crown, and a wand. The backyard turns into a fairy tale. Twenty minutes, easy: pink tulle, cardboard for wings, and fake flowers. The wings should be bigger than you think; small wings disappear in photos.

Tip: outline the wing edges with glitter glue and add three dots down the center.
Sizing: Built for kids ages 3 to 10. Elastic headbands fit most kids and adults; if the costume uses a paper bag or mask, cut the face opening while it is on the wearer, small first, then widen until they see and breathe easily.
Steps
- Draw one wing on paper.
- Cut it out.
- Trace it flipped for the second wing.
- Cut two large wing shapes from the cardboard.
- Cover each wing with pink tulle.
- Tape the edges down.
- Glue fake flowers around the headband for the crown.
- Tape the cardboard star to the top of the dowel for the wand.
- Safety: Keep the wand away from faces during photos.
- Tape elastic straps to the back of the wings.
- Slip arms through.
- Optional pro finish: outline the wing edges with glitter glue and add three dots down the center.
