A cardboard bowl rim, noodle-yarn hair, and a foam egg on top. The egg is the garnish that makes it ramen. Fifty minutes, easy: a large cardboard circle, white and red acrylic paint, and yellow yarn. The yarn should hang like noodles, not sit like a wig.

Common questions
How do you wear the bowl so it does not fall off?
Wear the bowl rim like a hat with string tied under the chin, noodles and egg on top. Keep the string snug but loose enough to slip a finger under.
What can you use instead of yellow yarn for the noodles?
Yellow string, shredded yellow paper, or thin strips of a yellow plastic bag all read as noodles. Tape them in a tangled layer so they look piled, not combed.
