A white shirt with a felt yolk, devil horns, and a red tail. Half egg, half devil, all pun. Twenty minutes, easy: a white t-shirt, yellow felt, and red felt. The yolk goes on the belly, not the chest; belly placement is what makes people laugh.

Steps
- Safety: Adults handle the scissors when cutting the felt.
- Draw the yolk oval on paper first.
- Hold it against the t-shirt to check the size.
- Cut the oval from the yellow felt.
- Cut it bigger, not smaller.
- Tape or glue the yellow oval to the chest of the white t-shirt.
- Twist the two red pipe cleaners into small horns.
- Tape the horns to the red headband.
- Cut a long pointed tail from the red felt, about 18 inches.
- Tape the tail to the back of the t-shirt at two points.
- Sit down once to make sure the tail clears the chair.
- Optional pro finish: cut a jagged white felt ring around the yolk.

Common questions
How big should the yolk be?
Dinner-plate size, centered on the chest. Smaller than a dessert plate disappears across a room.
How do you keep the tail from flopping?
Tape it at two points, shoulder blades and lower back. One tape point lets it swing; two keeps it standing.
